Slotting and reset charges and the impacts of negotiating strategies and other variables

Impacts on returns and deductions of variables like:
- Packaging design/testing and shipping methods
- Contract language and contract enforcement efforts
- On-site inspections of arriving shipments and proposed returns including an evaluation of the effectiveness of on-site inspection and choices of “Vendor Option” costs relative to the rates and costs for returns
- Broker sales incentives and compensation policies
- Executive knowledge and involvement

Retailer specific strategies, if any, that address problem behaviors and capitalize on opportunities presented by particular chains
